If you put a 13 amp fuse where a 5 goes your lucky you wern't standing outside your house sending the message after calling the fire department, its not safe to put a larger fuse in even if your standing watching the set when you plug it in.

I had this problem as well after recording a DVD. player might be in timer mode. press SET TIMER buttom to cancel timer function, press DVD to use player.
Are any of the other inputs such as DVD or VCR or PC inputs out puting color? If they are also only in Black and white they something has gone wrong inside on one of your main boards.

Ur tv is missing a blue color.U tv might have a bad incomming broadcasting signal cable.Try watch a DVD movie,to make sure,if u have all three colors guns like R,G,B on the tv.If DVD movie have the same problems,than ur tv have a dying tv Tuner signal board,that take in the incomming broadcasting signal cable.

encompass.com.the dvd mech cannot be repaired by individual parts.the entire dvd mech
must be changed and is available.this may
require a technician to repair this depending on
how mechanically inclined you are.the part is
available to the public.
