Hi, Did you try to clean beneath the copy glass? On digital machines, when the copy glass or optics are dirty, copy becomes verry light.
How many copies do you have? pres 123 button. It also could be that you need to change the toner station, by the book it goes 300000 copies. But I bet on dirty copy glass and dirty scanner assy.Clean the glass with glass cleaner and polish it with dry cloth.
Hello sir; I would like you to check the charge corona wire inside the drum cartridge or you just replace a new drum cartridge, before you change also check the discharge corona wire at the bottom inside the machine.
hi im jules_09.the opc drum of canon is not needed to be polish,they are sensitive to any form of polishing materials,but if the drum is not scratch adjust the voltage on your exposure lamp in the program.if its still light somrthings wrong with your developer
