You almost certainly have a bad output ic.

My car battery went flat and had to jump-start. I have a mono-block that plays a sub-woofer and a 4-channel that plays 6 x 9, after the car started I couldn't get the sound from all the rear speakers

Are all the rear speakers running off the 4 channel? And does the amp show a power on light anywhere? If all the rear deck speakers run off the 4 channel, it might only be a blown fuse. But if you have it all staged with 2 up front and 2 in the rear, the amp may have blown the rear channels. Next option is - did the positive connection to that amp run straight off the battery terminal and does it have a solid connection? Might be a simple mechanical failure (broken connection) Things to remember - some amps have inbuilt fuses, others have breaker protection with reset buttons. Start with checking the power from the battery and work back towards the amp.

We have modern Miele induction hob not sure of model it has three single hot plate, one large double extra speed hot plate one double hot plate its in demonstration mod how can l cancel?

I am assuming the timer display is showing "dE" . If you have the manual page 50 (programming) shows how to cancel demo mode. It is program P 0, currently it is set to "0" (demo mode), you need to change it to "1" (demo mode off).

Playing too loud music has blown my amp

maybe because your amp is overload, try to load 8 ohms single speaker per channel, then try to playing loud, if blown your amp again, the power transistors bias maybe excess to 0.6V ' if transistorized, if IC power amp, check cooling fan.

Can't get no output sound from my Behringer PMX660M mixer. All lights are on, power on is on, line-ins work correctly; speakon cables good but sound when instrument played through mixer.

The power amps may be blown... PLEASE read my tip on Fixya about the hazard with PMP mixers if you use Speakon to 1/4 inch cables. The sleeve or barrel of the Channel A plug is the hot, not the tip. Touch it to ground and goodbye Channel A of the amp.

Do this test: Plug a set of earphones into the Main out L and R jacks and see if audio comes out there. (it will only be in one side of the headphone and not too strong... If both L and R have signal there is a problem with the power amp or its configuration. Make sure the slide switch is up in the MAIN L/R position (top position) If all that is correct, the power amps have probably blown. Repair takes a lot of work and getting parts from Behringer now is really hard. The amp module is an HCA2400 and the only source seems to be FullCompass.com...

Behringer EP2500 Clip light Channel 2 stays on & heatsink HOT!

There are so many components that can fail that troubleshooting this can be an expensive problem.

HINT: Put a 150 Watt light bulb in series with the power going into to limit current for/during troubleshooting.

Go through and compare the voltages on the teo channels. If power amp transistors have failed, likely the driver transistors also are gone.

Testing components in-circuit is very dificult. Resistors are pretty reliable and usually show damage by discoloration.

Furhter use before repairing MAY cause further damage.

One channel not working (no output) when useing various modes

Hello

I had a similar problem, now to be honest there is quite a couple of things that could be faulty. I dont know which cable you are using between the source and the amp, but i am using RCA to mini jack.

I had the same problem that my tuner on amp played through all channels dvd as well, but as soon as i hook up the amp to my computer only some of the chanels played.

I found out that there is actually mono and stereo versions of of that cable thus, if you use a external source and channel it trough the amp with a mono cable, only some channels will be playing.
If you use a stereo cable both channels will work.

The other problem could just be a simple setting on the amp itself.
Usually you can set the number of channels you want the amp to be set on. It is very simple, locate this function an try every setting untill you hear that all channels are working.

It could also be an "ic" on the heatsink of the amp which overheated, if you open up the amp you will be able to see it instantly. This will explain the slight sound you manage to hear.

My advice is to try the first and second sollution and as a last resort send it to a repair shop or if you still have warrenty send it back. I doubt that it is a hardware problem on the amp itself.

Please rate this.

Best regards

Amplifier doesn't power-up

3 possible reasons you amplifier is trying to protect itself.

* Ground sensed on Positive terminal - could be shorted wire, stray wire strands from terminals, blown voicecoil on speaker - speaker wire touching ground.

* Thermal/impedence shutdown - Amplifier load is below rated minimum, amplifier has been overworked and is too hot (mostly due to improper load or gain setting too high.

*Internal Problem - Output channel or IC blown... causing an internal fault.

Left channel volume is very faint as compared to the right channe

It sounds like the preamp section is working but the power amp is not. Look at the power supply section and see if it is getting power to the power amp and if ok check the power transistors or IC.

Loss of audio output right channel

Take a look inside see if the amp uses transistors or an IC. If it uses transitors you can put a Ohm meter accross the leads (no power on) If it reads 0 (digital meter) or the pointer swings full over on the leads of any the transistors it's blown. If an IC then the thing might look damaged.
