I found a website called shredderparts.com that sells replacement parts for Fellowes paper shredders, including gears, switches, and spare parts for the cutting head. Unfortunately, I could not find a gear with the exact specifications you mentioned. However, they do have a 39 tooth second stage drive gear that is compatible with the Fellowes P-45C shredder. They also have a 41 tooth 7 tooth primary drive gear that might be compatible with your shredder. You can contact them at 1-800-634-9329 to check if they have the gear you need in stock.
If the motor is spinning, it's probable broken teeth on the drive gear. The drive gears are usually the first thing to break on a shredder.
If the motor doesn't spin. The paper may be clogged in the grinder claws. You may have to turn the shredder over (after you remove the power cable from the wall outlet). Then remove the papers from underneath.
Hope this helps.
Are the shredder blades going around? most shredders have guides that guide the paper between to shredder gears or teeth. these guides are usually made of plastic and breake. First step is to see if the shredder gears or teeth ar going around.....
Check to see if cutting shafts are turning in either forward or reverse operation. If not and you can hear the motor running the take off cover and check plastic gear drive train...probably something broken in there.
Main two step gear has inner teeth (smaller gear) stripped. I need help locating a replacement gear.
