Power supply board have the problems and the causes.It failing and not giving the tv the wright voltages to the rest of the tv anymore.That the board,where the board the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Power supply boards are very common in capacitors fails and dead like puffing up.Non capacitors puffing up,u must have very good electronic trouble shooting skill to find out where,could be any where components is dead and multiple components too.Best just replaced the whole power supply board.

Power led and lamp led blink simultaneously on my jvc hd65s998 rear projection tv

You might need to replace your lamp driver, or ballast as some call it. This is what strikes the lamp to make it light.

Blinking light onjvc 32432 tv no power

How many times the standby light blinks at a time of switch on? Count it. These blinks are fault indications [codes]. Count it. If you wish to get more details about the blinking codes to JVC brand TVs check this site.

My 52 in jvc model lt-52x579 turns on but there is no picture or sound and about two seconds later the led light for the power starts to blink i tried to turn it off but it just keeps on trying to turn on...

Sound like the power supply board has gone out .Unplug the tv for 2 or 3 minutes and plug it in again and try to turn on. Some times they will come on .But It sounds like the PSB is going out .

I have a JVC HD52z575 that when I turn it on the blue power light goes on and the Red LED light will blink slowly. After about 20 seconds the blue light turns off and the red led light will blink fast and...

JVC LT-32P679 Blinking Power Light, Automatic Shutoff

1. Hold [menu] and [vol-] button on the side of the TV
2. while holding these, press the [power] button on the side of TV (NOT remote)
3. blue light comes ON and stays ON
4. wait 10 seconds then let go of [menu] and [vol-]
5. wait another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear

I think this is right. I got it from the JVC call centers guys so sorry if I missed or messed up a step.
