My Telefunken model: T-TAB700 is stuck on the home page, not responding to my touch screen inputs and the keyboard is dead. I have tried a hard reset.

Sounds like you must reinstall Android OS. Try this;
1. Turn tablet off.
2. Turn tablet on.
3. When you see the manufacturer logo, count 2 seconds then press and hold the down Volume key.
4. "Android Recovery" will appear on top of screen if timing is done correctly. Release volume button. if not do step 1,2 and 3 again until "Android Recovery" will apear.
5. Press volume up button, the screen will say "Entering Android recovery mode" then an Android robot graphic will appear alone on the screen. then you may now release the buttons.
6. Hold down power button and then press the volume up key together to see the Android Recovery screen menu selections
7. Using the volume down button, scroll down to "Wipe data/factory reset" then Tap Power hard key
8. Scroll down to select "Yes, delete all user data" then Tap POWER Hard key again.
9. After a few minutes, your phone will return to Android recovery screen menu.
10. Tap the Power button to "Reboot system now" which will power-cycle tablet and eventually power back on to the Initial Set-up / Welcome screen present when you first turned on your tablet.

The unit turns on and the initialization screen appears and a clock like icon appears with the hand rotating and just continues to rotate and never initializes. I tried resetting the unit but it just goes...

If you leave it long enough it should initialise. I had to plug it into mains power so the battery doesn't go flat while it's trying to ido so. But then again, your battery might last longer than mine as mine was a factory repair, so there's a laundry list of issues I've had with it.

Aspire one black screen but mouse appear

Hi Giannluca,

when you turn it on, does it show startup information? E.g. BIOS screen on start-up, windows loading etc? If not, try this:

Hold down the power button for about 10 seconds when its turned on. This should power of your laptop completely, then try turning it on again and let me know what it does.

Error message

my camera did the same thing, lens retracts 3 or 4 times, and then proceeded with an error message "turn off and on again". I pressed the power button probably about 10 times, didn't work, so then i gave it a good smack on the top of the frame a few times while repeatedly pressing the power button and it did the trick. Hasn't gave me problems since...hope it helps
