Proscan ps50670 tv is having double images and the image is concaved intot he center of the screen from both top and bottom

Are you able to have any control over the red and blue convergence in all 4 directions? If not you need to replace the convergence ICs they cost about 10.00 each you will need two of them. A classic sign of bad Convergence ICs is a distorted picture at the top and bottom with the convergence out of alignment on at least 1 color. Let me know if you need anything further.

There should not be a need to replace the chip if the fuse below the convergence chip is blown. Check to see if there is a short in the convergence output (after the fuse). If nothing is seen then replace the fuse and see if it works.
