Can you pls tell me what error message # 2881 means?

Error message 2881 means that the camcorder can not read the disc. Check to make sure you have the correct disc type. Only DVD-R 4.7GB and DVD-Ram types will work. If you are using the correct disk type, then you can try this: Eject the disk and if it it empty just open the cd door. With the lens to the left and the door on the top. look into the device. You will see to the left side a metal platform that houses the dvd laser. take and push the platform all the way to the left.
