conenct the device to the computer
in itunes it will have your device down the side
then drag and drop your songs onto your player
then only disconnect the player when itunes says you can
then see if it works
use itunes to put the songs on your ipod it freely downloadable at the apple website at
www.apple.com/itunes
Once installed it will ask you if you want to put any mp3s on itunes once they are there you can then drag songs onto your ipod once connected by your usb cable. Or use ipod panel to synch songs from there.
Your Coby player is not compatible with iTunes. What you will have to do is to download the songs from iTunes, and, provided the songs do NOT have copy protection on them (possibly unlikely), you will need to download a free program like Media Monkey to convert the songs to Mp3 format. Once the songs are converted to mp3 format, you can use either Media Monkey or Windows Media Player to transfer the songs to your mp3 player.
The way around this problem is to burn your downloads on itunes onto a CD (which automatically converts the format). This can be done through itunes. You can then rip the songs off the CD using media player and then transfer them onto your MP3 player as per normal.
the shift3 cant use mp4 that you get when you download off of itune. you have to copy the song or video to a cd or try to find a mp4 to mp3 converter on the internet if you use itunes if not i dont know what to tell ya.
I believe that Itunes is only compatible with the Ipods.........however, there is a workaround. You need to burn the itunes downloads to a CD, then rip the CD back into an MP3 compatible music program. I'm attempting this as I type.........I burned the itunes songs onto a cd, and then ripped them into Yahoo Jukebox. One sec, and I'll let you know if it worked.
You cannot use Itunes for anything except an Ipod device. And any files you get from the Itunes or Rhapsody for example are copy protected and require specific software to copy to an MP3 player.
If your songs are in MP3 format (not downloaded from Itunes or another subscription site) then you can set your Sansa to "MSC" mode which makes it act like a flash drive. Then you can just drag files to the "MUSIC" folder on the sansa.
If this is on an Apple computer things are different - if you are let us know.
