Just download songs from CDs onto your computer then just plug in your mp3 and copy the songs from my computer to your mp3.

I can't figure out how to downlaod songs onto my ipod

You need to have iTunes installed on your computer. It's a free download from Apple. Load your CD's into iTunes or buy songs from the Apple iTunes Music Store. Connect your iPod shuffle and synch.

I keep putting songs on my ipod and the computer says that it has been downloaded but when i get on my ipod it dosent show up some people are saying it needs to be synchorized but i dont know how to do...

use itunes to put the songs on your ipod it freely downloadable at the apple website at

www.apple.com/itunes

Once installed it will ask you if you want to put any mp3s on itunes once they are there you can then drag songs onto your ipod once connected by your usb cable. Or use ipod panel to synch songs from there.

Hope this helps

Ihave my music downloaded on itunes and need to download music on my onyx mp3 player. I have over 100 songs on itunes adn need heELP!!

Go to
http://www.getsharepod.com/
download and install sharepod. Itunes is proprietary (only can use itunes with ipod) to keep you from sharing your music with other people and devices to make everyone pay multiple times for the same music. Follow the directions from sharepod and you will be able to take every song from your ipod and install them on another MP3 player. Copy your MP3s onto your computer and then install then onto Onyx with the appropriate software. I hope this helps.

My mp3 player says it has not files, but when I click on the icon on my mac, it lists all the songs I tried to download. What am I doing wrong?

Did you sync the files? If you didn't then thats the obvious problem.... However, in order to guarentee thats the problem, I would have to know what kind. If its an Ipod, then you are most likely using Itunes. drag and drop all of your songs into the music section, and press "synch". That will put all of the songs (given you have enough space) onto your ipod.

If it is a Sansa, chances are, it came with rhapsody, and thats what you used. If that is the case, dont use the rhapsody. its absolute ****. You are better off either A)using media player (which then, your steps are nearly the same as with itunes and an ipod). OR you can go into My Computer, and click on removable storage, which in this case, would be your mp3 player, and copy all the songs you want directly into that folder from the folder that your downloads are in. Either way will work. but the media player way will give you access to making playlist, where as just dragging and dropping the songs will not.

these solutions, should work for just about any mp3 player with little deviance, possibly only with brand names of programs used, etc. for any questions, just IM me at XxLillySilverixX on Aim.

Don't know how to download songs to my MP3 Player

do you have an Ipod? If so, you can go to itunes, and it's real cheap to download songs. You can even download songs without attaching a credit card to the account, they have prepaid cards in Walmart and Target. Anyways, in iTunes store, you go to power search, on the right side, type in your artist, click on the song you want (it will say buy song) and then you go to recently added on the right side of the screen in itunes and drag the song to your ipod above. :) Hope that helps.

Need help with music

The way around this problem is to burn your downloads on itunes onto a CD (which automatically converts the format). This can be done through itunes. You can then rip the songs off the CD using media player and then transfer them onto your MP3 player as per normal.

My ipod wont link up with my itunes

I think i can help you.
I dont think you need itunes. or windows media player. I neve use any programs that normally come with the device to install. What you can do is.
Connect your ipod to your computer.
Then open the folder which should be Removeable dics or somthing. And if there is a folder saying mp3 or songs or somthing open that. and minimize it
Then whatever music u want right click it and copy then go to that other folder and paste. It should work!.

If it dosent connect or somthing. It might be that the output socket in the ipod is spoil or something.
