I am looking for the driver software to install on my computer for the compaq ij600. i have a hp pavilion with vista. all i keep finding is driver updates. i can't update what isn't even installed. any suggestions on where to find it?

HP bought Compaq a few years ago and apparently stopped supporting that printer after Win XP. There is no driver for vista. you may want to try the drivers for Win 2000 as Vista has similar code as Win 2000, and some of those drivers work in Vista. see:

have you tried using the drivers that vista has, no compaq doesnt offer drivers for xp or vista for that model

Compaq IJ600 started to print stopped in the middle and now both green lights are flashing tried restarting computer unplugging printer no luck. Any help greatly appreciated.

I am trying to install compaq ij650 printer to my computer and the the only choices for compaq printers on my computer are ij600 and ij700. which one of those to printers would have compatible software...
