To retrieve the CD safely, the safest way is to open the unit. A common problem is that a tiny belt from a motor that drives the eject deteriorates and slips so there isn't sufficient drive to move the mechanism. The unit is probably in a mode expecting to eject and has commanded the motor but it doesn't complete... Do as I say and open the unit to do the retrieval. Then get unit serviced.

I just bought one used and the seller said it needed a fuse. It wont power on. I took amp I dropped the electronics from the case and couldnt find the fuse but the inside of the board and case had several...

If he KNEW it "just needed a fuse", why didn't he "just" replace it.
Could have sold it for a lot more if it worked,
The fuse is on the end of a circuit board right behind the power transformer, It should be a little glass fuse.

My NDX400's display screen doesn't show anything. When I turn it on, all the "characters" flash white, so I know it works. But then, it just goes blank. No matter what I do, nothing shows...

If you was to turn the deck upside down you will see 4 main screws in the corners holding the silver top to the black chassis of the deck. undo these screws and carefully turn the deck over and lift the top off slowly. I say slowly because before putting it down (you might need someone to hold it for you) you need to un-clip the white plug and there will be a data ribbon stopping you from pulling the lid away. this is the strip you need to check both ends that the connections are clean and pushed in properly (the blue strip on the connector should be facing the middle of the circuit board) be careful not to snap the connector and make sure you push it into its socket straight and not at all at an angle or it could snap. put the white connector back in and pop the lid back on and turn it on to see if worked.

Numark CD DJ IN A BOX w/2-NDX200s/M1a/HEADPHN - NUCDDJINABOX ONE OF THE CD WONT EJECT

Was it working at first, and it just stopped? Try unhooking everything and just isolate the one cdj and plug it in see if it will eject. If its Brand New and this just started happening my sugguestion is to take it back to the store. you get what you pay for and numarks whole dj in a box line is the bottom line stuff.

Numark KMX02 left hand CD will not eject

Usual cause is a little rubber belt either deteriorated or is slipping that drives the carriage to do the eject. Open unit and recover the CD and the drive belt will be obvious...

STANTON C324 NO DISK \r\nTHIS FIX THE PROBLEM AND COST YOU $25 NO LIKE IN STANTON $320 ;) http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290406538324&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

You need a new laser or laser mechanism. You can order one online no problem. The part number is: Sony KSS 213Q. make sure there is a Q at the end of it because sony makes a lot of different laser types and the one inside the Stanton C.324 is the Q. Yes the C.324 has Sony guts. You might also want to look into ordering a RF Signal Processor Chip. the part number is: CXA 2581N. Once again make sure the part number ends with a N. This part you might have a little more trouble finding online but it is possible. The laser mechanism you can find on Ebay for about 20$ to 30$ and if you order it from stanton magnetics it will run you about 200$. The signal processor I bought the other day from a Sony parts Dealer in my home town for 20$. Im having an Electronics Repair place do it for very cheap. If you send your stanton c.324 to stanton magnetics you will end up paying more than the turntable is worth brand new unless you have valid warranty still on it.

Hope I could help you with the problem. Cheers.

Some cd's wont load

Currently I have one that won't load or unload.

That problem is a slipping drive belt. It is a small square profile belt near the front left of the machine. There is not enough tension and the motor spins its pulley inside the belt. The mechanism it drives is the load and eject function.

Cd wont eject

Obviously it's the thickness of your labels. Use printable cd's or just get a cd pen and print on the cd.

How to use Audioline Pro DJ Multimedia Mixer M Dex 3.0

I have been recently using this Cd Dj deck at parties and have some general knowledge of the product, it has alot of potential. Is there anything in particular that you need help with? Or is it the general concept of using them.
Currently, i don't think there are that many websites that explain how to use the Cd decks, however i can provide you with some basic information. Most of the information here could be worked out by trial & error.
- Pitch control on the right of each cd deck can be slid up ( slows it down %) and slid down (speeding the track up %) i think the pitch control has a range of either +-10% or +-16%.

- Cue button, has the potential for Cue'ing or setting up the cd to instantly jump to the "cue'd" point with the press of this CUE button. This is done by either pressing play/pause button and rotating the jog wheel to a point of time in the track which automatically sets the cue point OR holding down the >> or << search button to find a spot within the track at a greater speed.

-Vinyl mode. Pressing this button will set the deck to the "vinyl mode" to simulate scratching or even backspins. pressing this button again will change the mode back.

- the Crossfader (or 'X' fader) button will select the left cd track if the x fader is all the way to the left and the right track if the x fader is all the way to right. having the X fader in the middle will play both tracks together.

- Low, Mid, High. These nobs on the middle section of the deck change the individual track by which it is corresponds. (Left side = left cd track, and vica versa) Low refers to the Bass of a track which can be essential for mixing two tracks and elminating excess bass noise. Mid refers to the drumming and even synth of a track, and changing this can result in some cool sounding effects. High refers to the 'high' frequencies of the track playing, such as snares, hi hats and possibly vocals. All these controls are crucial to understand in order to mix 2 songs together successfully. It's good to get a chance to muck around with these cointrols. The middle of each control resets the setting to normal or default.

- Channel fader. the two controls that slide up & down on both sides of the mixer on the deck. This is also referred to the volume setting. Useful for mixing seamlessly one track into another.

- Gain. This control at the top of the mixer refers to the volume level or 'gain' of the cd track that it corresponds to.

- Jog wheel. Serves 3 purposes. firstly it can be used whilst a song is playing to temporarily speed up or slow down the track to match with the song on the opposite side. secondly, whilst holding down the 'search' button, operates as a control to quickly find a spot in a song. and lastly when selecting "vinyl" mode, can simulate the reaction of a vinyl turntable. The scatch function, and backspin effect.

- The pitch button, is just another control to speed up or slow down a song temporarily whilst holding down the '+' or '-' button.

- Reverse button, for a certain amount of time will play the song on the left or right in reverse.

- Time. this button is essential to change the time selection on the cd deck, to either "Time elapsed", "Time remaining" and "total time remaining on the cd".

- the "tap" button, allows the user to physically "tap" the button in time with the song's beat, which calculates the Beats per Minute (Bpm) of that song. which is essential to work out the bpm of 1 track to mix the speed with that of the opposite deck.

- Cd/usb/sd, changes the mode of system reading. from CD to USB or SD card.

I really hope this general guide to using the Audioline ProDJ MDex3 has helped!
Peace. Marc.
