Hi, googled this problem myself and found this page. Doesn't help much though. Will still have to get someone out to look at it.
http://kleenmaid-appliances.com.au/TSPM/WM/Kleenmaid/KFL1600_Fault_Codes%2040220415.pdf

Good luck, we'll need it now our warranties are useless.

I have an error code "EF" for my Electrolux

Generally, EF error is showed with an additional number on your display... EF 1, EF 2, EF 3, EF 5, EF8, or EBF.
Each error code will depict a different cause and solution. Out of these solutions, the most common is the control board and possibly the UIB (User Interface Board), or too higher mains voltage coming into the house, causing damage in this UIB device.
Test and check voltage, if this isnt solve it, relace UIB device.
Hope this helps.

LG wash machin have error code "EU"

There is no such error code. The closest error code would be UE which means that it's a unbalanced load error. If you have a light load, or you are washing a large bedsheet or bedspread, that will cause it to not spin properly because the machine cannot balance the load. The best thing I can recommend is adding about 4 to 5 large bath towels so the weight can be distributed more evenly.
Good luck

WASHING MACHINE NOT WORKING, SHOWING ON SCREEN MESSAGE "LE"

The LG website explains it:

http://lgknowledgebase.com/kb/index.php?View=entry&EntryID=6250

"Over-sudsing is the main cause of LE error codes. Using non-HE (high efficiency) detergents or too much detergent will cause stress on the motor."

KFL1600 - stops with Error 7.

If you unplug the machine when it stalls, that should reset the controller to allow release of the door. Does the pump run when it is supposed to? If ok, check the drain coupling at the bottom of the outer tub. If you pull the drain hose loose at the tub, water should run out (if water is in it). If not, there may be a stray sock or similar that is blocking the drain opening. Hopefully, there may be an access plate nearby that allows cleaning of the port. Otherwise, the machine will need to be torn down completely to access the port. (BIG job!) If you lay the drain hose down at floor level, an open drain system will allow gravity draining of the machine which would point to a defective or inoperative pump.

Can you tell us what error 6 is as displayed on Kleenmaid KFL1600 front loading washing machine. We have the manual and it is not listed. Many thanks

Hi I've got a KFL1600 with error 6 too - I fixed this once by cleaning the filter, but now it's come up again and the filter is clean. Not sure if it's related but the door has stopped unlocking too and we have to open it by pulling the little tag in the filter door. Very reticent to get it repaired as everyone says that these machines are a nightmare and costly.

Kleenmaid kfl1600 front loader, does not start

It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.
