There are many services on ebay that could help you, but if you are looking for cheap, the I suggest a DIY (as long as your warranty is expired).

Here is the part: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-TOP-LCD-Screen-For-NINTENDO-DS-LITE-NDSL-Tools_W0QQitemZ380039105768QQihZ025QQcategoryZ139969QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Fix top screen phone

You can buy a replacement screen, (digitizer), on ebay and find video guides on youtube. If you dont feel comfortable attempting a repair yourself then you can contact any local electronics shop and they should be able to do this fairly cheap, cheaper than a new phone.
Also, to do this yourself, you will need mini screw drivers, (that most likely will come with your new screen), spudgers, ability to heat the edges of the screen without causing damage to surrounding components, PATIENCE...

DS Lite Top Screen Replacement

Hi,

Has your top screen devlouped a fault or stopped working altogether? Here is my guide to re-connecting a new top screen and fitting a new one.

Take the DS lite apart (a tri wing screwdriver is needed and can be found cheap on ebay), disconnect the top screen by lifiting the motherboards connector flap (located near the hindge) and then re-insert it, try switching it on again and see if thats sorted it. If not then you will need to replace the screen. (If you need help taking the DS lite apart then check out my other tips and tricks posted on here).

A new screen can be brought on ebay for a reasonable price, there will be a little soldering required as the speakers will need to be de-soldered from the old screen and re-soldered onto the new one (please take note of which wire goes where).

Remove the screws from the lid of the DS lite (4x screws hidden under little coloured squares above and below both speaker outlets) slide the top/outer part away from the hindges, it will move about 5mm and then you can lift it off... Gently pull the ribbon through the hindge so that it is free from the bottom part of the DS lite, pry the screen away from the shell (a small amount of force may be required to remove it) remove the front plastic part of the screen (with the respective DS lite coloured frame, de-solder the speakers, re-attatch them to the new screen, place the new screen into the housing along with the speakers and put back the wifi and mic to their original position if they got moved, you will notice a slot in the hindge where the ribbon goes in, this is for the ribbon to easily slide back into the bottom part of the DS lite... pop the ribbon through and then re-attatch it to the motherboard with the connector, pressing down the connectors flap.

Screw the DS lite back together, after this you will need to place the plastic sheet with the respective DS lite coloured frame back onto the top screen... The reason you don't put it on any time before that is if you put it on prior to putting the new screen in place you will have great difficulty trying to get it correctly aligned.

If you find that your DS lite now doesn't want to stay powered on please refer to my other tips and tricks I have issued on here.

I hope this helps and have to say that I accept no responsability for any damage that may occur to your DS lite when following these tips.

Drivers side window seems to be off track and i dont know how to get into the door to repair it.

You would need to remove the door panel to access your window track. There are plastic expansion pins which hold the door panel in place. There is a tool specifically designed for this it looks like a screwdriver with a v center, slide this tool under the pin and push down on the handle and it will pop the pins out. You may need to unhook or remove your master control unit that operates your power doors/window etc in order to have enough room to access window track. There are little cheap crappy plastic guides which hold the window in place which break quite frequently you can get those from the dealer cheap (they are always in stock). Remove those guides and install the new ones and you'll be good to go

My acer 5720 keeps overheating when playing games and shutting down any tips to overcome this .

  1. Buy a laptop cooler
  2. put your laptop on a leveled surface such as a table
  3. do not put your laptop on your bed while its on, that causes the laptops vents to block and no air can be sucked in eventually the laptop gets heated and automatically turns off
  4. plz dont forget to vote if i solved your problem :)

The mixing part of mixer not working motor is fine

Hi. Since I can't tell how much you have taken apart, I'll start from the beginning.

Remove the silver band, remove the top cover. At the top front of the mixer locate the transmission housing. If it's plastic, inspect it carefully for cracks around the screws and the body of this housing. If you find cracks, you have found the cheap plastic part that kitchenaid still installs in new mixers, and the cause of your trouble. They know that it's substandard but don't care enough to place a recall notice on this part. It may not please you to know that their replacement part is METAL like the original part should have been. "For the way it's made"! Indeed!

If you intend to repair the mixer yourself, go to kitchenaid's website, enter your model # and locate the parts list for your mixer. Download the drawings, they will assist you with your project.

Be sure to tell kitchenaid what you think of their cheap plastic part.

If this solution has assisted you, please rate it. Good luck! ricardok45

Bottom screen

Sounds like the screen is broken. It may be fixable, but you're likely better off buying a new DS.
