I have a Yamaha RX-v1800 amplifier. Need help connecting a Bluetooth music receiver

To connect the Bluetooth music receiver to your Yamaha RX-V1800 amplifier, you will need to use one of the available input options on the amplifier. The Yamaha RX-V1800 should have various audio input ports, and the specific connection method will depend on the output options provided by your Bluetooth music receiver. Here are the general steps to connect the receiver:
  1. Identify the audio output options of the Bluetooth music receiver: Check the output ports of the Bluetooth receiver and determine what type of connection it supports. Common output options include:
    • 3.5mm headphone jack (analog)
    • RCA (analog)
    • Optical (digital)
  2. Choose the corresponding input on the Yamaha RX-V1800: Depending on the output options of the Bluetooth music receiver, you need to select the appropriate input on the amplifier. The Yamaha RX-V1800 should have various input options, such as:
    • AUX (usually a 3.5mm stereo input)
    • CD (analog RCA input)
    • DVD/BD (analog RCA input)
    • OPTICAL (digital optical input)
  3. Connect the Bluetooth music receiver to the amplifier: Use the appropriate cable or adapter to connect the output of the Bluetooth music receiver to the selected input on the Yamaha RX-V1800. Here's how to do it based on the different output and input options:a. If the Bluetooth receiver has a 3.5mm headphone jack (analog output) and the Yamaha amplifier has an AUX input (3.5mm stereo input), use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable to connect them.
    b. If the Bluetooth receiver has RCA outputs (analog) and the Yamaha amplifier has corresponding RCA inputs (CD or DVD/BD), use an RCA cable (red and white connectors) to connect them.
    c. If the Bluetooth receiver has a digital optical output and the Yamaha amplifier has an optical input, use a digital optical cable to connect them.
  4. Set the input source on the amplifier: Once the Bluetooth receiver is physically connected to the amplifier, you'll need to select the corresponding input source on the Yamaha RX-V1800. Use the amplifier's remote control or front panel to select the input source you connected the Bluetooth receiver to (e.g., AUX, CD, DVD, OPTICAL, etc.).
  5. Pair and play: Turn on the Bluetooth function on your iPhone, put the Bluetooth receiver into pairing mode, and pair it with your iPhone. Once paired, you should be able to play your music from the iPhone, and the audio will be transmitted to the Yamaha RX-V1800 amplifier for playback.
Please note that the specific labels of the inputs on your Yamaha RX-V1800 might differ slightly from what I've mentioned, but the general concept of connecting the Bluetooth music receiver remains the same. Always refer to your amplifier's user manual for the exact location and naming of the input ports.

Best converter for HDMI (ARC) port on TV to onkyo tx-ds555 receiver

Your receiver appears to have a digital optical input, so no converter would be needed, just an optical fiber cable (TOSLINK) between the two optical ports. However, the manual for your receiver states that several functions don't work unless there is also an analog connection. If you must have those, you can use an HDMI audio extractor. You may also need an adapter cable to convert 3.5 mm stereo audio to a pair of RCA phono plugs to make the analog connection.

How can I connect a Proscan PLDED4016A 40 LED TV, With a Phillips soundbar HTL1520B?

Can you access all of the ports on the ProScan PLDED4016A? There are some ports that face down (near the power cord) and others on the right hand side (as you face the back). The picture from the manual, https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1049754/Proscan-Plded4016a.html?page=8#manual , indicates a headphone jack and a coax audio output and analog RCA audio out. The headphone jack is at the bottom of the side input area below the component video and service port. The digital Coaxial and RCA Audio outputs are closest to the power cord.

The PC Audio port is an input when the TV is used as a monitor with a VGA connection to a computer. See https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1049754/Proscan-Plded4016a.html?page=12#manual for using the TV with headphones.

If the headphone jack doesn't work, you need some sort of converter or adapter. To use the TV's digital coaxial audio port with the optical digital audio port on the sound bar, you need something like this: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=2947 . Note: make sure to get the correct input and output option; these are not bidirectional. You will need to supply the RCA digital audio cable.

For the analog RCA audio output on the TV, you have multiple options. A simple RCA (M/M) to 3.5 mm (M) cable will work. So will various RCA audio/3.5 mm adapters, depending on where you want to put the adapter. (RCA (M/M) to 3.5 mm (F) is the simplest since you have the Aux cable.) These will connect to the Aux in on the soundbar.

You can also use an analog to digital audio converter, https://www.amazon.com/Musou-Digital-Optical-Toslink-Converter/dp/B01HGHNCMW . You'll need to supply the standard analog RCA audio cable for most of these. Then connect the converter output to the optical audio port on the HTL1520B.

I hope this helps.

Blessings Anyone know how I can attach SA GX303 RCA cables for a smart tv

It depends on the TV. Does the TV have a digital audio output? Is this an optical or coaxial output? (Most Smart TVs do not have an analog audio output (headphone jack or RCA).)

You will need the appropriate digital audio cable and a converter with the digital audio input and analog audio output. See https://www.amazon.com/DA-Converters/b?ie=UTF8&node=3224445011 for a few choices. Most of the converters do not come with the cables. This model with mostly positive reviews, https://www.amazon.com/Digital-Analog-Converter-Coaxial-Toslink/dp/B07LF82S95/ref=lp_3224445011_1_23/135-5511214-2912559?s=aht&ie=UTF8&qid=1591372740&sr=1-23 , has both the optical and the coaxial digital audio inputs. It also includes the cables for the digital audio.

I hope this helps.

How do I change the input from analog to digital or optical on my Kenwood Kraft-v7772d? Thanks

To switch the input on your Kenwood KRF-V7772D receiver from analog to digital or optical, follow these steps:

Check the Manual: First, consult the user manual for detailed instructions specific to your model. If you don't have the manual, you can find it online. The manual provides step-by-step guidance on how to change inputs.

Input Selector Button: On the front panel of your receiver, look for the Input Selector button. It might be labeled as "Input," "Source," or something similar. Press this button to cycle through the available input sources.

On-Screen Menu: Some receivers allow you to change inputs using an on-screen menu. If your Kenwood receiver has this feature, navigate to the menu using your remote control. Look for an option related to input selection or source.

Remote Control: Use your remote control to directly select the desired input. Look for buttons labeled with input sources (e.g., "DVD," "CD," "TV," "Optical," etc.). Press the appropriate button to switch to the desired input.

Digital Inputs: If you want to switch to a digital input (such as optical or coaxial), ensure that your digital audio source (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console, etc.) is connected to the corresponding input on the back of the receiver. For optical input, connect the optical cable to the "Optical In" port.

Analog Inputs: If you prefer an analog input, connect your analog audio source (e.g., turntable, cassette player, etc.) to the appropriate analog input on the back of the receiver.

Remember to adjust the settings on your connected devices (e.g., TV, Blu-ray player) to output audio through the selected input on the Kenwood receiver. If you encounter any issues, refer to the service manual for further troubleshooting

How do i connect my LG soundbar (model number:NB5530A) to my bush smart tv (model:LCD40883F1080P)

The LG NB5530A only has a digital optical audio input. The LCD40883F1080P has a digital (S/PDIF) optical audio output above the RCA audio output jacks on the back connection panel.

Your best audio option is to use this connection. When new, the NB5530A came with a digital audio cable. Remove the protective plastic covers from the cable ends. Plug in the cable using the correct orientation on both sides. If the original optical audio cable is missing or damaged, purchase a replacement and use it. (The audio and power ports on the NB5530A can be covered by a plastic cover. Remove it if necessary and replace it.

If you want to use the analog audio output on the TV, you will need a optical digital to analog audio converter. You still have to provide the digital audio cable between the TV and the converter as well as the RCA cables. See https://www.amazon.com/Digital-Optical-Analog-audio-converter/dp/B004C4WPXA for one example.

See page 8 of the manual for the LCD40883F1080P for the picture of the TV's back panel connections ; it's available at Manuals Lib: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/876290/Bush-Lcd40883f1080p.html?page=8#manual . See pages 6 and 10 of the NB5530A manual for the included cables and location of the connections. The manual is available on the product support page: http://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-NB5530A .The direct link to the manual for the NB5530A is currently http://gscs-b2c.lge.com/downloadFile?fileId=KROWM000575517.pdf .

I hope this helps.

No optical output except when using ipod dock on tv

Unfortunately, there is a limitation on the JVC LT47P789 digital optical audio out. This audio output does not get the signal from any HDMI source. This is described on page 49 of the user manual. The manual is available from JVC here: http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/01/14/YA653ien.pdf . There is a similar restriction for the analog audio output from the TV with the HDMI inputs.

If you use the component audio/video inputs on the TV from your set-top cable box and DVD player, then the optical audio output will work. Otherwise, you need to find a way to connect the audio directly to the receiver. Some receivers have multiple HDMI input ports. These then forward the video signal on their HDMI output to the TV. Another option is to connect the analog audio outputs from the cable box and DVD player to the receiver. This may require resetting the Audio output from these set-top boxes to keep from sending the audio over the HDMI cable. With the Cinemate, you might need some sort of audio input switch or an HDMI converter and switch that separates the audio from the video signal.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with more information about your devices for ideas on how to work-around the problem with this JVC TV.

How do I conect external radio/speakers to my lg 42lh40-ua

There are many options here. Most HDTVs today have analog audio and digital audio output jacks. You can use RCA audio cables or a 3.5mm connector, whichever your HDTV has to connect the analog stereo output of the TV to any number of devices such as a stereo/amp which has speakers attached. You could also connect an FM transmitter to the TV and send the audio wirelessly to a nearby FM radio, boombox, portable etc. Most HDTVs today have a digital audio output, typically optical, which uses a digital audio cable ($15) to connect to a surround sound receiver. You can also connect the stereo analog output jack on the TV to a 2.4GHz transmitter and receiver speaker combo to get wireless audio outside, in a swimming pool and so forth, all around the house using wireless speakers. These setups usually cost around $150 or so. Look for the jack on the TV labeled AUDIO OUT and see if it is the white and red 2 jack ports or the smaller 3.5mm single jack port. Adapter cables are available at Radio Shack for around $10 should you need them. So you see the options are almost endless.

Digital Audio out in MACBOOK PRO.

Connect external speakers, headphones, or optical digital audio equipment. The headphone / line output jack accommodates optical digital audio output, analog audio output with a 24-bit, 44.1-192 kHz D/A converter, digital audio output up to 24-bit stereo and 44.1-192 kHz sampling rate and supporting encoded digital audio output (AC3 and DTS). For analog headphone / line output a standard audio cable with 3.5mm metal plug should be used. For digital audio, a standard Toslink cable with a Toslink mini-plug adapter can be used.
You can find the Digital to Analog converted:
