I want to upgrade replacement motherboard, what type or measurements size should I try?

ATX is the largest physical size mobo followed by the Micro. You wouldn't need to worry about anything smaller as they are more expensive anyway.
I would be inclined to replace the power supply also as that will be 'tired' and would probably struggle to power the new board. I never fit anything less than a 500 watt power supply. They're not that expensive anyway and it's always better to have power to spare than to be on the borderline.

What is the maxium hard drive will my k8v-x support

You have to limiting factors when determining max HDD size. 1) IDE or SATA interfaces. 2. 32 bit or 64bit Operatings System. With a 32 bit OS you are limited to 2TB per drive. Although I think 500GB is the largest IDE drive you can get.

I will like to upgrade my laptop to the maximum capacity presently it uses 50G HDD 256*2 DD R CPU SPEED IS 1.5GHZ AND CPU TYPE IS Intel celeronR(M)

well the mother board is hard to tell what processors it supports, maximum memory that it can fit is two 1gig chips, one in each slot, for a max of 2gig. thats all the system will support. the hard drive is optional as far as the size needed. largest it will fit is a 500gig HD, look on www.tigerdirect.com . that celeron processor is old, and small, it will be hard to find another thats any better, it sounds like its a xp system that may be upgraded..

What is the largest HDD compatible on a Sony Vaio VGN FS630/w laptop What max HDD size can I upgrade now? Currently my laptop has 80GB HDD.

This is a 5 year old system which is ancient in todays world. Upgrading the disk to 160gb would help but that is about the top end disk size. I'd consider a newer system. It would cost in the $75-100 range. Your disk is ATA which I don't think got larger than 160.
Don't forget you need to CLONE the existing disk to the new one which can be a pain if you don't have the correct tools.

Type (size) of hard drive??

It all depends on use. You should get the largest the system supports and you can afford to prevent having to upgrade in the near future. A 500 GB HDD is pretty cheap now days. Hope this helps.
