Empty, fill with water only run through spin cycle. Replace clothes
do not overload and try to distribute clothes in an even weight pattern over the tub bottom.
The tub hangs on 4 support rods. Lateral movement is kept in check with 4 bungy cords bolted to the top of the tub. If that washer is not level the tub will hang to one side and the fancy controls will declare an error. Make sure all your rods are good (they drag the base of the machine when worn out and make a heck of a racket) and the bungys are not stretched and the machine is level.
most likely you either have a weak pressure switch or a water valve that is not seating properly... if when the unit is off it does not fill on you then it most likely is going to be a pressure switch located in the console area... prior to replacement though make sure the clear hose that goes from the pressure switch to the side of tub is not damaged or disconnected from the switch itself...alot of times if there is a crack and it cannot hold the pressure switch closed it will open and allow water to continue to run...
the operation is as follows:
turning the timer to a wash cycle water fills to desired load level once reached the pressure of the water in the tub will send air up to the pressure switch telling it to close once closed the timer advances to the next level of the wash cycle and the power is shut off from the pressure switch and water valve.... hope this helps a little ....
Hi
Sounds like a lid switch issue to me. the washer wont run if it thinks the lid is open. its a safety mechanism. Replace the lid switch. it's a cheap try and probably the right answer
