You must change the search engine:

depending on what browser your using. most times you can go into options and select the default search engine. once you change it back to google hit save / ok and you should be good.

I think it is very easy.
Go to your Browser > Setting> Search Preference
and set the new search engine and set Google as default search engine.

Hi,

I see that the Search settings has been change on your Google Chrome.

Just click on the wrench Icon on the upper right side of the window beside the star then click on Options, once you have the options page you will see Basics then click on it, Look for Search then there should be a drop down giving you the option to choose the search engine you would want to have in Google Chrome, also you can click Manage search Engines... on the Manage search Engine it will give you a box showing the search engines available you can basically select which to make default on the google chrome you have or oyu can as well click on the search engine you wish to remove and click the x on the right of it to only have one search engine for your google chrome.

Go to add/remove programs and remove anything that reads google. It will probably read something like google tool bar or search. If you don't use it you won't miss it, and removing it will stop it from overriding the search engine you do use. If you need any more help let me know.
