Why is it so difficult to get answers from Storkcraft. I just bought a Storkcraft MadisonStages Crib and need to replace a part which came damaged. I phoned and after waiting 15 minutes and being told to go to their website and still no satisfaction, I am not very pleased and will also complain to Walmart. I also require an assembly instructions sheet which is also missing and I notice is a problem with other customers. I would appreciate hearing from someone so I can resolve this matter . Had the same problem. Ours came with assembly instructions for the trundle drawer, but nothing else. The FAQs on the website say you can find instructions ON THE WEBSITE, but you can't. Ridiculous... you'd think after a few people had this problem they wouldhave addressed it. NOT IMPRESSED.Had the same problem. As lots of cribs-stage from Storkcraft, your bed instructions are permanently attached on the board, below the mattress. And for the almost beds, the mattress frame has to be purchased separately, to convert it to a full size bed.
Checking the model number at the Storkcraft website is not possible at the moment due to overwhelming traffic. Check the manufacturing date and compare it to the information below to assess whether your crib might be involved.
This recall involves Stork Craft drop-side cribs and Stork Craft drop-side cribs with the Fisher-
Price logo. This recall does not involve any cribs that do not have a drop-side. This recall does
not involve any cribs with metal rod drop-side hardware. It involves only those cribs with plastic
trigger and one-hand-system drop-side hardware.
This recall includes Stork Craft cribs with manufacturing and distribution dates between January
1993 and October 2009. This recall also includes Stork Craft cribs with the Fisher-Price logo that
have manufacturing dates between October 1997 and December 2004. The Stork Craft cribs with
the Fisher-Price logo were first sold in the U.S. in July 1998 and in Canada in September 1998.
The cribs were sold in various styles and finishes. The manufacture date, model number, crib
name, country of origin, and the firm’s name, address, and contact information are located on the
assembly instruction sheet attached to the mattress support board.
I also have this crib. The instructions are on the mattress base. (the wood that holds up the mattress) . If yours is not there, here's a link to an image of it..
I too, need to convert my crib to the toddler daybed. My daughter climbed out last night! Anyway, I was searching for my instructions and then remembered the instructions are attached to the bottom of the mattress board......hope this helps.
