I forgot a blue ray movie in my PS3 for a few days & now it wont read any game or movie. doesn't even sound like it's spinning when I put a game or movie in. I turned it off & let it sit for a couple of days with no luck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Get a blue ray cleaner from your local store or purchase a repair kit for PS3. You left it on too long and burn the lens out and dust and dirt built up over nite. Or, you can try sending it to Sony to repair it. Or, go to a pawn shop and find another PS3 and swamp the hard drives.

The disk drive holder has probably been knocked out of place, contact Sony 08705998877 Sony Playstation Customer Service.
Or take it to your local generic electronics repair store.

PS3 won't accept certain disks. A few disks i have won't play in my ps3. it happens to both blu-ray movies and games, and it seems to only happen with blu ray disks. i'll put the disk in, and...

Hello
The noise is actually a product of dust from a blue ray disc.Over time these discs heat up and leave a residue on the blue ray lens.
Try using a lens cleaner to remove dirt and clean lens.
Also i read an article that using a wireless controler can also cause freezing of the blue ray.

My PS3 playd cd dvd but not blue ray games

Problem with the laser it sounds like. If you still have the system apart with the dvd drive out, go ahead and replace the laser. You can usually find them on Ebay.
