I have a Mtsubishi ws-65315... I hit the menu and input and after 6 seconds, it blinks twice, then pauses for a second, blinks twice again, another pause, and does this 4 or 5 times... Can anyone help me with this?

I am having this same problem from the same model # television.

this model has a self check, when green light comes on and then goes off. Push and hold both the Menu and Input buttons on the front of the set for at least 5 seconds and release both.

Power light will blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks 2 blinks, a pause and then repeat it several times.

Let me know what error code you find and I will tell you what it means.

this is error 22. which is a short curcit protection error. the first suspects in this case is the convergence ic (stks) these are supplied by 24 and -24 volt lines. these short and shut the set down.

There is no error code 25. Only 23 and 24 which mean loss of horizontal or vertical deflection respectively. Can you please verify and let me know?

try accessing the self diagnosis feature by pressing both the menu and device/input button in together on the front of the set and hold for 6 seconds to see if the led will blink a two digit code such as two blinks slight pause then another series of blinks to indicate the second number then let me know the code and I will assist you.

To unlock the keyboard press and hold the "menu" button on the front panel for 10 seconds. 2. (Power LED may be on after plug in) check for no less than 4.4 volts DC at pin 3 of PC9A21 on the Power PCB, if low or missing replace PC9A21 part # 268P058020. 2.This model is also equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source) 1. Shutdown at power with self diagnosis error 2-2. Check for open fuses F9A04 and F9A05 part # 283P144080 on the +24 and -24 volt lines. If the fuses are open the convergence output circuit would be suspect. 2. Shutdown at power with self diagnosis error 2-1. At power on check for 12-volts DC at connector KH pin 8, if missing check IC9C51 part # 270P990010 and L9C52 part # 441D009020 on the Signal PCB. Good Luck, big IRISH.

Press input and menu on the tv panel and hold both buttons in together for 8 seconds and let me know if the led blinks a two digit code

Need to know more, 1-2 is no error code, you say will not turn on, do it has led light on or do you hear sound in set like high voltage? Any lights blinking? Or just completely dead, like fuse blown?
