Your player supports only the MTV video file type... To convert your videos to the MTV file type, use MTV Video Converter OR the bundled Coby Media Manager (CMM) software (if you don't have it, download it from here)! Detailed instructions on installation/usage of CMM are found on the User's Guide... If you are satisfied, rate my solution with 4 "thumbs" or (even better) add a testimonial.
You will need a proper media convertor that is recognisable for your Coby. Down this sofware from the Coby media player downloads and install this in your computer. Convert all your movies within the computer to convert using the sofware , connecting your Coby to the PC , copy to the player. Repeat the process for all the video files. Hope this helps you. Your Coby MP-610 Player is capable of viewing MTV file formats with maximum video resolution of 160 x 128.
There are many MTV video converters available on the net but i strongly recommend the E.M. Video Converter by eTinySoft to convert your movies into MTV format and play it on your Coby MP-610.
When you use the Coby Media Manager software, go for the "Coby Media Manager fix for the MP822".
Once installed you can select the MP705 as your device for transfers.

The CD is only for people who are running Windows 98. You don't need the CD in order to load and play music on your player. If you want to convert video clips and then load them on the player, visit cobyusa.com and you'll find the video conversion software that you'll need.

Use the video conversion software utility included on the Installation CD to create video files that
are suitable for playback on the MP-C7052.
Your player supports AMV files with the following specifications:
160 x 128 resolution at 15 frames per second (fps)
The video conversion software will not recognize ALL types of video files, so you will have to find a free converter that will convert files of one type to AVI or another recognized video type.
Look at the help files in the video converter software for far more detail than we could ever hope to provide here.
