Lost the installation disc for my canon mx700 printer onto my PC

You may download drivers and software from here.

Go to this link on Canon's website... http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mx_series/pixma_mx700#DriversAndSoftware

Click on the Drivers and Software link, select your OS and download the drivers.

You'll be presented with the Drivers section (download the appropriate one for your computer) and the Software section for the various software packages for your printer. Download each of the ones you want to install.

These downloads are self-extracting zip files, to install them, just locate the files where you saved them and double click on each to extract and install the files. (Install the driver first).

Try then this:

• Create a new admin user account and then attempt the operation again under that account
• Search for USBSCAN.SYS to install scan driver
• Disable third-party software to install MX700

2 - printer and faxes
3 - right click on your printer
not on your fax icon

You probably need to add the correct driver onto your lap top computer. Use the disc you got with the printer to reload the drivers.

try going to the canon web site and find the drivers for your model printer and download them from there
