well....the easiest way to do it would be to remove the battery n let the computer be for atleast 24 hours...n i mean ATLEAST 24 hours and then try.

there is other jumper shorting techniques but that wuld void ur warranty if ur lap is new

Microsoft and Sony has an agreement on the newer Vaio that they will not support or release any other OS rhan Vista.

I have set the password for administrator when i entered the bios set up. you can change its setting but not the configuration unless you've entered the password. you can't change the password with a new one if you cant enter the old password. Next time dont forget your password because laptops has its security even when stolen you cant open its bios set up if its protected by password. CMOS battery is in the mother board. You need a service technician to open your laptop to reset the bios setup battery.
