I get "Failed to write

1st You download Webcam Driver.
Create input filters failed
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Sometimes a program is still working even if you have closed the task window. You can finish the task tree in task management panel or simply restart your computer. BTW, ArcSoft ShowBiz has a new version 5.0. Its functions are much more powerful than any versions ever.

we don't have a fix for this although i'm sure it will be along the same lines.

The quick fix is to use other software to capture and then import the video into Arcsoft to edit, burn to DVD etc.

your computers hard drive might be getting to hot
try blowing out all of the dust from your laptop computers keyboard using a fine air blower from an air compressor making VERY sure there is no MOISTURE in the lines.
dust causes static which causes lots of unforseen problems with a computer and its parts
also you might buy a laptop usb 3 fan cooler pad just to keep things cool/er
you might check the leads ((motherboard to hard drive)) they might be bad/faulty

if it is not supportable first convert the video to the format that it is accepted

Go to:
Start>Search
When the search comes up, on the bottom left, you'll see "Click here to use Search Companion"
Click that, and on the left side when it comes up, click "All files and folders."

For the search criteria, type in tsbyuv.dll and "Look in" should say "Local Hard Drives (C:)"

Click search and you should be able to find it.

If it doesn't find it, change the search criteria name from "tsbyuv.dll" to "*.dll" Without quotes of course, then do the search again....once it finds all the .dll files, you can just find it by looking for the name.

Right click and delete.

navigate to >start>control panel>programs and features(add/remove programs) select each program individually and select uninstall at the right. restart your computer. install itunes from this link itunes download.
be sure to say Yes or OK if asked to update Quicktime. Insert Showbiz disc and follow onscreen instructions.

Make sure the software that came with the camera is intalled. Conect the camera to your computer (via USB the (batteries are not required to be in the camera when you do this)) press the button above the USB. On a pc in the bottom right corner will say "installing new device" ... load up "Showbiz DVD 2" (Start, all programs, Arcsoft showbiz dvd2, showbiz DVD 2.) select “capture from device”. It will show a live image off the camera. If you want to use the camera on an instant messaging service (I use windows live messenger 8.5) close Showbiz. Open instant messenger. Once loaded select Menu, tools, webcam settings. There you can adust settings like the brightness. Then if you want others to know that you have a web cam click on your display name, options, personal. At the bottom of this tam there is a tick box makes sure that this is ticked. Hope this helps

Try Cyberlink Power Producer and set it do capture via DV cable.

You will need probably need a 4 pin to 6-pin firewire cable with adapter..
A software called Showbiz DVD2 was able to detect my camera and allow me to control the Camera options via the firewire cable to transfer the full video to my hard drive. You can also use a video program like Pinnacle or Roxio Media. Hope this helps you out. I know how bummed I was before.
