I see this is out dated to April 2014. SO. Here goes. I will provide you with a link supported by Remington Society. Here you will find a conversion and listing chart for your interests. Defer to the society on line to enhance your education within Remington. Here is the link. Remington Dates of Manufacture .


It appears you will need more Alphabetic Characters to satisfy the date and year of the manufacture of the weapon. One must disassemble and look for stamped characters. The Remington model 11 and the Browning Auto 5 are pretty dang similar. Both made during the same time. The take Down is very Similar.
