My daughter accidently deleted all my pics on my Sony Cyber-shot. Is there any hope of recovering those photos from the SD Card? I have already tried to recover with a photo recovery program with no sucess. Should I give up hope or is there somewhere I can take my camera too for help?

Try again with other software. If you are using a memory card, take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that are available to help you recover your photos. Do the camera recovery as early as possible because longer you wait, more difficult to get back lost files.

Have you saved anything new on this SD card since the deleting process?
In fact, the deleted files on a SD card are not actually erased completely off from the SD card after the deleting process. They are still there and only become invisible. But, they can be easily erased as you save anything new on this same SD card. So, I hope you've not done that.

I believe this data recovery can work perfectly on your memory card just in the same way as it completely retrieves all the deleted data of my friend off from his phone memory card. Just give it a shot!
Note: Never forget to back up everything important at least on two memory cards or locations in the future.
