78-6114 Telescope for my kids and I think everything is put together correctly. Lol. But when I try to view anything I shows nothing and yes I did remove the small cover at the end of the scope. Thanks!

Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the telescope. Practice focusing on a distant object during the day time,. Also line-up the small finder scope with the main telescope.

The moon should be your first target at night.

The telescope didn't come with a manual and I just want to know how to put it together or if I can get the manual somewhere.

This is a small 60mm refractor telescope. You will not find an exact manual but this one may help you put it together.

This one was given to me i think it was put together wrong,is there a diogram to instal lenses properly.

I think you have the wrong PICTURE shown in your question? This is a REFLECTOR style telescope I believe. Does it have a mirror inside?

Then point the end with the focuser UP-- the mirror is the bottom of the telescope. Take the lens cap off if there is one. Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser. DO NOT USE the 2x barlow if you have one.

Go outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object.

I have a galaxsee 525x - was given to me a few days ago. It has been used and came with no instruction manual. I have out it together but I cant see anything with it. I can when I dont put the lense in but...

First you have what we call a department store telescope. It is 60mm, not much bigger than a pair of 10x50mm binoculars. Do NOT use the 2xbarlow if you have one, Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the telescope and go outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object.

You probably will not find a manual-- however Meade telescopes maintains a web site for their scopes. Look under REFRACTOR on this page for one similar to your telescope. They all work the same way:

Then read my TIPS on my profile page.

Problems with the ercecting lens

Did you put the eyepiece into the diagonal? ------- after you put the diagonal into the telescope. Erecting lens is a DIAGONAL by the way. "erecting diagonal"

Is inverted image normal

Most astronomical telescope show upside down images-- no problem as up or down do not exist in space!

You can buy an "erecting" diagonal for terrestrial use.
