Hi people, I need to be able to replace the door lock on my washing machine and was promised that the manual/repair instructions were on the indesit website. HA HA! Any suggestions before I break something? PS am a motor vehicle mechanic, have some sense, I think.
Undo clamp holding door gasket on cabinet and peel gasket back in the area of the door catch.
door lock is just held in by 2 screws from the outside and will come away when these are undone. on some models, there is also a small diameter pipe going to the door lock and take this off. note where wires go before removing them

hi we have a hotpoint first addition washing machine the door lock will not lock theire for it will not do a wash anyu tips so i can fix this myself
The model I bought was Samsung WF-B1061. The front-load door was locked at the very first time I used (Monday, found the front-door can;t open at 6:30pm). Samsung refused to send their technician to repair claiming that it was off office hour. I have to let my cloth stuck in the washing machine. It is the most horredous experience of mine in terms of home appliance.
