Our Washer has a loud "ticking" noise in the wash

If it's a roaring noise, the tub bearing is probably wearing out. Spin the tub a little with your hand, if you hear a little of the roar, that's it.

Check and see if the inner drum is loose and floppy.if it is, it's likely the bearings have collapsed, and require replacement...If the drum feels stiff and tight, it could be that something is jammed between the inner and outer drums. what kinda noise, sqeeling, or clunking, mite be sumthing small that made its way behind ajatator an is causeing noise..or one of the springs that hold it broke..sorry i dont no what kind of noise.....

support bracket that supports the tub is breaking. stick your hand inside and push up and down and see if its coming apart. if u look at it when it runs does it wobble?(the tub) if not take a look at the pulley on the back and see if its wobbly.

Good morning! It's common to hear a loud thumping noise during spinning because the load (clothes) are not properly place in the tub. Please try to put the load in order & compress it down. best regards.

hi, i would suggest the timer/programmer is faultyas it is ok on the other cycles, the noises you have described may have caused some damage,

i would try removing the lower acess panel(2 5/16 screws . from there you should be able to see where the "ticjing" noise is coming from, likely source is cracks in belt assy

Washer is four years old. It makes a loud noise when agitating and now the drum is jammed. What can I do to fix it?
