Looking for software for OZ-730. Found that www.mywizard.com is no longer an accessible site.

You need the cable that came with the wizard. I think it is a serial cable. Then you need the software that came o a disk with the device. Does not matter, what port you use, serial or USB you always first need to install the software before you can connect it to the computer and work with it. Sometimes you still can fine the old software on the site of the producer of the device. (Sharp this time)

You can sync this device to your computer and that will let you do many things, but this device does not send email. You can sync it with your Microsoft Outlook and download contacts, schedules and your calander.

You will need 3 items to interface your Wizard with a USB port.

1. A generic USB to RS-232 adapter cable (with 9-pin serial connector, to match the connector on the OZ-730 interface cable).

2. A USB to RS-232 driver for the above cable. (If you have Windows XP: HL-340.EXE, contained in 111.rar, which can be downloaded from www.usbserialdrivers.com. If you have another version of Windows, or if you have Linux, you will have to consult the documentation on www.usbserialdrivers.com to find the correct driver.

3. Software to communicate with the Wizard. You should be able to use the software that came with it, or purchase RuppLynx, or download Microsoft ActiveSync or a similar free program.

I used a cable I purchased on ebay, the HL-340.EXE driver installer, and RuppLynx software to connect an OZ-730, an OZ-570, and a Zaurus 5800 to my Windows XP laptop without any problem.

Basically you export is as a text file, and then you can import it into something like Excel in order to convert it to a different format.

If you forget your password, there is no way to bypass the Secret function or enter a new password without losing all data marked as Secret.

If you forget your password, you will not be able to
unlock the Organizer and access your secret information. If this happens, you will have to delete the old password to be able to continue to use the Secret function. This will also delete all entries marked as secret.

When you held the start button down and pressed the reset, did you get a message appear ? as per the manual

Hi, I has this same problem but I found in the user manual this instructions and works ok: 1. Press and hold the Start key.
2. While holding down the Start key, push the RESET button
on the bottom of the Organizer using a pen or some other
pointed object. The following message will appear.
"Do you really want to initialize the organizer's memory (this will delete all data)? Yes:[ENTER/No:[ESC]
3. Press to initialize the Organizer.
The message .Working... Please wait.. appears while the
Organizer proceeds with the initialization procedure.
The Welcome message then appears.
