Question about AT&T 5840 5.8GHz Speakerphone/Answering/Caller ID Answering Machine
We like the AT&T 5840 5.8GHz, but I can't find the instruction book and there are features we want to turn off---specifically, we don't want to use the answering machine and we don't want the system to try to let people leave messages. Right now, the phone will ring 10 times and then a message will come on:"Please enter your remote access code".How do we get rid of this message? We have Caller ID w/ name and want people to be able to let the phone ring indefinitely w/o any messages coming on. How do we get rid of the message and complete deactivate the answering machine feature? email: [email protected]
