I take the capacitor out from the watch( Citizen b023 movement) and don't remember the position of the contact.Can you help?

On the bottom of the battery there is a connector with a nub sticking out in one direction only on the bottom and one on the opposite side that juts out and then up. The nub that does NOT stick up should line up with the tiny arrow that is in the battery slot, and you will notice a tiny slot on the opposite side for the other one that juts up. it should stick up and is suppose to touch the back plate of the watch i believe.

You're looking for the "movement caliber," a four-character combination of letters and numbers, separated from the seven-digit "case number" by a hyphen.

Give the watch a good charge under a lamp for 24 hours , not close to the lamp so it get real hot.
if it does not hold charge after this i would contact Citizen as the capacitor may be faulty.

Citizen watches has rechargable battery called Capacitor.
it may be warn out and need to be replaced or may required cleaning for movement

This is the link from Citizen watches to the instruction manual for this watch. They have all the manuals for there watches available, you only need to find the movement caliber on the caseback. For the Blue Angels watch the movement is the C300, hope that helps.

A "non" fully charged watch will sometimes "jump" seconds rather than indicate one second intervals. Charging these small solar panel watches takes forever, in BRIGHT sun. Have you tried leaving it outside, in the sunlight, for at least 12 hours?
