Hewlett Packard offers the printer's drivers and installation software for download on the company's website. If you are installing the printer on a computer using a newer operating system such as Windows 7, downloading the printer's software is the recommended method for installing the printer

Uninstall any software you have already installed and reboot before downloading and installing the Vista software and driver.
