hi how are you , my cd changer s630 recently just started to eject the whole cartreidge i push it back and its makes some nosies and then the same ejects it
I have a 2002 honda accord with the 6 disc cd changer. I beleve the cd changer has jamed and have lost power to the CD player. When I press the CD button it wont recognise the player. Any suggestions
Slide the door open (1/2 gray 1/2 silver door) on the disc changer, inside is a push button that ejects the 6 disc cartridge. Load and unload cd's into it.
cd changer reqs a verygood 12v source, check for a good earth&check how many volts are going to changer with a good quality voltmeter, check at changer, not head unit
Clean the unit if possible. does the cartridge eject? if so, load it with a cd player cleaner, preferrably one that uses a cleaning solution. put it in tray slot 1. load and wait. try this a few times then try a good disc, one that is not scratched up. changers are hard on cd's. If it's still not working, below the cartridge slot there should be an inverted dimple that you can press with a ball point pen. This is a reset. It should have this button, I just can't remember the exact location if it's not right there. Hope this helps. If you have a spare cartridge try that as well, as they warp.
Check in the front and you should see a small hole thats about the same diameter as a paper clip. Open up a paperclip to a straight 2 inches and poke it through the hole. It should release the door so you can get it open or at least seat the cd if thats whats making it not open.
I"LL SUGGEST U FIRST TRY TO FIX THE AUX INPUTS. CONFIRM WHETHER "AUX IN " IS "ON" or "OFF" .PRESS "SRC" SWITCH UNTIL "AUX 1" or "AUX 2" APPEARS ON DISPLAY. SELECT IT "ON".NOW HOPE FULLY THE CD PLAYER SHOULD PLAY.
