My sony wega kdf 50e2000, has a yellowish shaow in middle of the screen about a foot or so wide and just about from top to bottom. if two people are wearing white shirts, the one in the middle looks yellowish. whats wrong and how do i fix it?

Optical block failure. There was an inherent problem with the optical blocks for this TV and Sony has yet to issue an extended warranty for this model. The only way to fix it is to replace the whole optical block. This is very costly ($1000+) and time consuming (need to take whole TV apart).

This is caused by a failure of the optical block of your TV. The only way to fix the issue is to replace the whole optical block which is very expensive ($1000+) and time consuming (need to take whole TV apart to replace the part).
