OfficeJet G85 new computer has no phone jack port to use computer fax

I have a Mac Pro and it only supports ethernet. I can use the printer for everything except faxing to my computer because the only out port is a traditional phone jack. Is there any way to work around this problem?

My office jet G85 won't print. No error messages appear,it has a new color cartridge,it copies, but won't print from my computer.

If it copies ok, then the issue is either the way it is cabled to computer or the print driver software settings on pc.... How is it connected via USB? Check port and correct driver is in windows/control panel/printers. Reinstall.

I have a dial tone coming out of the jack on the wall that is only for this fax machine but the fax machine is saying phone off hook.

,Line should be connected to directly to printer line in port, parelall phone should be connected to extention port, don't split the line for printer & phone. Telephone line voltage should be 48V with/without line connected to the printer, if any voltage differce replace LIU card..

Cant send fax dials squeals and cuts out and busy signal?

Hi There!
Please check if the phone line where the fax machine is connected is working. You may try to disconnect the fax machine from the walljack and connect known-working telephone on that jack and try to dial/call anyone. Because sometimes this issue can be caused by the problem on the phoneline.
Hope this helps. Please rate if it works. Thanks

Etherner will not connect

The ethernet connection on the printer is for a router.
You don't connect directly to the computer with the ethernet connection.
If you want to connect directly use the usb port on the printer.

My hp officejet G85 won't successfully send multipages faxes Can you help me with this problem?

Not sending multipage faxes I will assume the pages are not feeding correctly. If this is the case replacing the entire ADF would be the easy fix.
Not available new from HP as far as I can tel but available if you search G85 ADF.
If machine is terminating the connection try reseating th LIU this is the board the phone line plugs into. part C6735-60009
Hope this helps
