Projector Cable I'm trying to find a cable for a CTX EZPro projector. 1 end has a VGA male connection with 3 row of pins (4 of the pins are empty), and the other side is a female connection with 2 rows of holes 8 over 7. I can't seem to find this anywhere! Any suggestions where I can find it?

How to connect laptop to vga projector?

you need a cable. it may be the one that usually connects a computer to a monitor = depending what the input is on the projector but it sounds like an ordinary monitor cable as projector is VGA ( the other type has a digital input at one end ;but Im pretty sure thats not it.) If you have another computer set up just borrow the monitor cable and try it. There's already an input for one end in your laptop if its ok buy an extra cable

The vga cable is chopped and the PC end is missing

Is this a standard VGA cable with a plug ato both ends? If yes, they are available where computer equipment is sold. If it is hard wired, you need to take your monitor in for repair.

I need to replace the VGA cable on my Sanyo projector, model PLC-XW55. I don't know what to get. It's a male-male cable .

Hi hotpinkvalen
If you have a VGA cable, take it to a computer shop or **** Smith and buy a new one.
Just tell them you want a VGA cable. It costs $6 to $10 depending on the shop.
If you don't have one, and if you don't know how it looks like, goto any desktop computer and have a look at the cable which is connected from the computer to the monitor.
It is a male-male cable both ends of the cable have 15 pins.
Hope this will help you
Best of luck

Color problem

Hi christisfree

Try using a different cable that you connect from your source to the Projector.

A colour change is normally a faulty cable , but if the problem persists after changing the cable , then you might be in for a new Mainboard.

Try the cable and get back to me on this one.
