Disk is stuck in player. Can't open door . [email protected]

Some have a tiny hole in the tray front to manually release it/push the tray open.

sounds like the disk may be sticky on top and is now stuck to the chucking clamp. Try to cut power as the door tries to open, then open the door as much as it will aloow and you should be able to fish the disk out. If it is stuck, you may have to push down the disk with a screwdriver to release it.

Does it have a door or is it an open end where one can slide the dvd in (kind of like a car cd player). Either way you will need a card. Door method: slide card in over top and try to maneuver dvd to original spot, try eject in-between tries. Open end method: like car cd players or Sony's PS3 system then you will need to slid card into drive above dvd/game/cd and press pressure on top of disk and the automatic rollers should catch the disk.

you will need to remove the cover and manually turn the gear that opens the door...this problem sounds like the belt for the door opening gears has broke and will need to be replaced...you can obtain a belt from mcmelectronics.com

Open up the dvd player (first unplug) by loosening screws on side and back take out disk and clean round spindle the disk is sticking too.

you'll have to remove the top and remove the disk that way. there's a top bracket on the dvd drive to remove before you can get to the disk. and unplug the unit first!!

take a small flat head and pry the door open if not the only other way is to unscrew cover and manually push tray open

took out the dvd player and inverted it and pushed the advance disk button . There was a disk stuck between the disk slots. The door opened and I removed the disk.

You can attempt to open the unit and see if there is a disk stuck in the unit. Typically there will be 2 screws on each side and a couple on the rear holding the top on the unit. MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG IT BEFORE YOU BEGIN!!!
