The Casablanca 88U33M Scandia Ceiling Fan only has three wires, a black, a white, and a green wire (ground). How do you wire the fan and light on seperate switches?

If you want to control both the light and the fan using 3-ways, then just wire 2 sets of the 3-way circuits. For this you need two sets of 3-wire between the switches, and one 3-wire cable from the switch location to the fan/light box.

At box #1 (a 2 gang box), you will run a power cable (marked cable #1) into it. From there you run 2 sets of 3-wire cables (identified as cable #2 & cable #3) to the other switch location, which will also be a 2-gang box (box #2).

Also from box #1, you will run a 3-wire cable (cable #4) to the fan/light box (box #3).

Hook up is as follows:

Box #3: connect black of cable #4 to black (fan), connect red of cable #4 to blue (light), connect white of cable #4 to white (fan/light), and connect the bare to the green.

Box #2: Connect white of cable #2 to identified terminal on 1st 3-way switch (#3). Connect red & black of cable #2 to the remaining screws of 3-way switch #3. Next connect white of cable #3 to identified terminal of 2nd 3-way switch (#4), and connect black and red to remaining screws. Tie all grounds together and terminate to both switches.

At box #1, connect black from cable #1 to whites in cables #2 & #3, using a wirenut. Connect white in cable #1 to white in cable #4. Connect black and red in cable #2 to 3rd 3-way switch (#1) and connect black and red in cable #3 to 4th 3-way switch (#2). Connect black in cable #4 to identified terminal of 3-way switch #1, and connect red in cable #4 to identified terminal on 3-way switch #2. Tie all grounds together and to the switches

Wireing

3-pair version of (red/green, black/yellow, white/blue). But the first two pairs are not twisted
So it becomes green/red, yellow/black, & white-black/blue. G1/ R2 /3Y /4B /5*Blk/6Blue (this is what you physically see on the other RJ11 connections since this is a data connection and not a phone connection it should be a straight-through instead of cross-over connection.
These RJ 11 PINOUT assignments may be incorrect because they apply to a color camera instead of B/W

1 SPEAKER (+)
2 VIDEO_OUT
3 GND
4 SPEAKER (-)
5 AUDIO_OUT/ALARM_OUT
6 12V DC
Back of Camera
Clip up, contacts down
123456
RJ11-e starts off like a RJ45 Stranded Patch Cable.
The color code used in stranded patch cables is different from solid-conductor cables. For NorTel Digital Patch Cable (DPC), the coding is; Pair 1: Green & RedPair 2: Yellow & BlackPair 3: Blue & *Orange White\Black
*In Pair 3 the color coding is Blue & Black instead of Blue & Orange and the pair is twisted so that the Blue wire is the 6th pin instead of the 5th pin.

Need to change the cord on my Maytag MDE6000AYW from 3 prong to 4 prong. The (4) prong cable has black, white, green, red cables. Which colored cable connects to which terminal inside the dryer?

BLACK and RED are 110-120VAC each. WHITE is NEUTRAL - does not carry power. GREEN is GROUND. The Black, Red, and White Wires should connect to the terminal block & should correspond the colored wires already connected to the block from the machine. The Green wire should be grounded to the equipment chassis. I hope this answers your question.

Need pin out info for aqua vu 4 pin connector

I figured it out:

Here goes: There are 4 wires inside the Aqua Vu cable that runs to the underwater part of the cam.

Red = Hot or 12 volt power from battery postive (red) terminal

Black = Ground - ground to battery negative terminal

White= Video input (or center of video coax)

Green= Infrared lighting control, if you ground the green wire against the black/ground, you will see

that it switches ON the infrared or "Christmas" lights. Simply put a switch on the green wire after you ground it, so you can switch your IR's on and off.
