I have a strange problem on my Motorola v3i phone.
First, It does not always switched on by pressing and holding down the red key for a while.
Secondly, It automatically shuts down without notifying or displaying any wrong message. There is no exact time span between ON and OFF.But it does not exceed more than 2 hrs.
with this reguard i want to say that its battery is fully charged.
Is it a virus problem or battery problem or keypad problem?
Whatever be the problem please help.......I cannot use my mobile for 24 hrs a day.......
Nope, didn't work.... any idea what else could be causing this problem? It was reflashed and it still will not stay on for more than 3 seconds... than, it will turn itself off.... wait a a minute or so (but that's sporadic) and then the phone turns itself back on... Should I blend it?
Take the phone and have the firmware reflash this should correct the issue that you are having

I have a very similar problem!! My phone was working fine for 1 month. I fully charged it yesterday and this morning I had a hard time turning it on and when it did turn on, every key I pressed would turn it back off!!!! I have flex/flashed it and it is still doing it.
Any suggestions? and no, I do not have a warranty, it was purchased used :-((
it automatically switching off by it's self,and the buttons freezes and the screen can do the same thing.
my razr turns off by itself , it is a lot slower when it is on , and my back doesn't show.
