My dell studio 1535 will not turn on. the key board lights up but that is it

In device manager, go to sound and update your drivers. If you know the make and model number of you motherboard, then you can go to there web site and download the latest drivers for your motherboard. This may solve your problem.

SOURCE: my dell studio 1535 camera has no icon to turn it

Click on Start and type Device and open Device manager form the results. Check in device manager for any device with no drivers. the webcam is listed under Imaging devices. If you dont see a webcam there and there are no devices detected with errors or without drivers then it is a hardware issue. Either the webcam cable is loose or not conencted. If you see the webcam under imaging devices then you need to install the Dell webcam central given to you on a Cd or downloadable from www.support.dell.com.
