My hp laptop zv pavillion 5000 turn off whe loading os system (any os system} it just turn off when os start loading.

there are 7 levels of PW
we can not see your screen
no use your eyes.
all we can do is beg. for 1 photo or 1 failing screen.
un blind the helper, and make it a win/win

Try doing a system restore on it.

i am advice you find the sell service, notarize the laptop problem.

HP does not sell disks on non-supported PC,s (too old)
so ask them , or find them on ebay, or use craigs list
and post WTB wanted to buy, this is not buy sell forum here at fixya but good luck if you do get offers.

by the way, if buy disks from random sells, they will be infected.

the boot sector is damaged at this time, try again the system restore, if all else fails you need to install a fresh OS XP home version be mindful of all your drivers cause you need this afterwards

i agree with exon33 as long as you are useing realtec you can do that anything else and you better off using the disks that came with it

First clearly tell me you want to format the or not.

have you recently loaded any new hardware or software to the system.  if so... this may be the source of the problem.  you would want to load in safe mode and remove whatever you changed.  that would then fix the problem.  i wouldn't jump to the conclusion that your operating system is corrupt just yet.  it sounds as though it is doing exactly what it should when it comes upon a conflict in the system.
