I have an hp officejet pro L7680 printer and am having trouble finding new 88xl cartridges for it. Will the 940xl cartridges work in this printer

Hi there,
You cannot install HP 940 Cartriges for Officejet Pro L7650 as they are not compatible and the mechanism is different for both the cartridges,
In your printer, the HP 88 fits on the left bottom corner of the printer and the HP 940 cartridges are mounted on the Printhead inside the printer on HP Officejet 6500 AIO.

Why does my hp office jet pro L7680 tell me unknown device when i insert a sandisk 8 gb thumb drive to scan to???

It doesn't recognize the format. Often the drive manufacturers put proprietary software in the drives that interferes with other devices reading it. Go to the sandisk website and follow the removal procedure.

HP Officejet Pro L7680 Problem - memory card reader

You should see in "My Computer" a few drives that read "Removable disk". They refer to the memory card slots on the printer. Double click on each one until you find the one that your card is in.
