I have HP Officejet 5610 All in One printer, When i am switch on the power button the dispaly showing intializing and after a few seconds it shows date & time and then suddenly one noise coming from the printer( I think cartridge assembley moving and it gets stops) and printer goes off and only black led display showing on the screen. After this i cant off or on the printer unless unplug the power cable from printer. Please some one can help me on this. I will greatfull to him. Kamal

Hi,

Its time to reset the printer; follow the below steps

Power Drain:

Turn OFF the printer, disconnect the power cable from backside of the printer and from wall outlet.
Press and hold the Power button for 60 seconds.
Connect the cable and turn ON the printer.

Partial Reset

Remove the power cable from back side of the printer while its ON.
Press and hold "#" and "3" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
If printer turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.

Semi-Full reset

Remove the ink cartridges.
Remove the power cable from back side of the printer while its ON.
Press and hold "#" and "6" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
If printer turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.
Insert the ink cartridges.

NVM Reset

Remove the ink cartridges.
Remove the power cable from back side of the printer while its ON.
Press and hold "OK" and "Cancel" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
If printer turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.
Insert the ink cartridges.

Power outage now printer won't work

1. Have you tried turning your printer power button off.... unplugging your printer open all the door cover and close them back.. plug your printer into another wall outlet....then turn it back on.... if it turns back on...(GREAT) 2. If it does not(TURN BACK ON).durning a power outage it can damage the main board in your printer...and if so you will need to have it serviced.....
