Hi,

If you have Windows XP press CTRL+ALT+DEL at the login screen.
A new login screen will appear. Login using Username: Administrator and Password: password
This will log you into the Admin account.
You can then go to the user account in the control panel and reset the password for your user account.

Hope this helps!

Regards

Toshiba satellite a105 s1712 factory settings

If you are talking about the BIOS settings or password, then you will have to dissasemble the laptop and take out the BIOS battery (a coin battery, not the laptop's battery itself). Then you'll have to replace it after a few minutes then reassemble the laptop. That should restore it to factory settings.
Also, if it asks for any password at boot time (not windows login screen) the default should be "toshiba".

I need to reset a Toshiba A105 to factory settings it will not hardly run as is very slow

If you mean reformat that is possible. Just make sure you back up your drivers. You should also have a Windows operating system CD.
YOu can also perform system restore which will restore your computer to an earlier date.
System restore options is found under accessories and then system tools.

IS there any factory seeting hidden in TOSHIBA

On some models of TOSHIBA laptops you can access the system restore partition by tapping on the 'zero' (0) during boot.

This will erase EVERYTHING on your drive and reset it to a "out of the box" state. So be sure to back up anything you want to keep before doing a system restore.
