I have an Epson ELP-5500 LCD projector that has a convergence problem. Are these projectors capable of any kind of adjustment for convergence issues? I have a broad electronics background, but don't really want to tear the projector apart if there's no chance of making any adjustments.
Convergence on lcd is a tough issue... you can if you are really good and know what you are doing adjust the panels to correct some convergence issues. but depending on how many hours the unit has, the LCD panels may have warped due to the heat inside the projector, then corrections is pretty impossible.

Can somebody please respond to this? I have the same convergence issue, and there MUST be a way to fix it with either software, or a physical change of the projector. Please, if you know, let us all know...
