Question about Asko D1776 Built-in Dishwasher

1 Answer

My dishwasher is signalling F2 but there is no water in the machine. When I start the dishwasher, it starts correctly but then very shortly starts the F2 signal. When I open the door, the dishwasher does not stop. I have to turn the switch off at the fuse box.

Do you have a user manual for this dishwasher.

F2 is linked to either water intake or drain pump problem. Please confirm what you mean by "dishwasher does not stop". If there is no water inside what is the dishwasher doing when you open the door.

Samsung dishwasher why is F2 not explained

Hi, F2 means that the Main Control Board is not getting the right signal from the user interface, turn off the power to the machine & then go to you tube there are several videos showing the correct way to remove the screws to give you access to the inner door liner to check all the contacts are clean & connected properly, as if this doesn't correct it then the user interface is probably the cause as it is most likely faulty & needs to be replaced, but to be sure I would follow the step by step tutorial on you tube for your make & model....

I hope this helps....

Hello everybody, I hope that you gona a give me some tips for repairing my dishwasher mashine. A few days ago, the error F2 appears on my dishwasher machine (Baucknecht GSI 5894) I checked the pump for...

Possible the inlet valve has given up and is not allowing water in.
Also possible there is a slight leak enough to shut the water off (safety feature) - Check underneath for a float mechanism and any water there.

Adg 3962 IX showing fault code f2 with flashing

The machine has a switch inside that activates when a set amount of water is loaded.
If this switch then breaks (switches off) during the wash the machine assumes that the water has leaked out.
Run it through a couple of washes, check for a leak and see how it goes.
Hopefully it will be fine.
F2 indicates a flooded base.

Press and hold the start button until the start light goes out. (This resets the appliance)
Select a new programme and try the machine again.

If it comes up with a fault F2, take the panel off below the door and check for water in the base.
Be careful when you take the panel off, the exposed edges are razor sharp.
Drain any water in the base, reset and try the machine again and watch for a leak through the inspection panel.

No water sprays after resetting an F2 fucntion problem

Make sure you get water to the dishwasher. Check to see if the water shut-off valve (located under the sink) is open. If you get water to the dishwasher, but there is still no water inside during the fill cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side), in which case replace the water valve.

Asko 1875 - will not stop

OK, just had the same problem wit my dishwasher, ASKO 1875, ,,,,,, Firstly, open the door and remove the tilt screws that secure it from tilting, top left and right corners at the front , pull the dishwasher out from under the bench enough so you can get to the back of the unit. Take care with the power cord [ should be turned off at the wall] . At the fear there is a panel at the bottom held on with 4 selftapping screws, remove these and ease panel away from the machine enough so you can see inside. Now you are likely to see alot of water sitting in the bottom tray, [ l did on mine } This exess water activates a small float under the pump which in my case caused the problem. Sponge the exess water out into a bucket, there will be quite a lot. Once dry try turning your dishwasher back on and hey presto the lights on the controll panel should be back to normal. Turn power off again, replace bottom panel to the back of the machine. Reinstall back under the bench, not forgetting to replace the tilt screws and all should work well....... Hope this helps. If still a problem you may have to dig into your wallet and call a serviceman. P.S. If you dont want to remove the back panel and sponge the water out, you can just tilt the dishwasher over to drain the water but this will cause abit of a mess {water } on the floor, but it is alot faster. Good luck.

F2 FAULT AND ALL LIGHTS ARE FLASHING.

f2 means water in the flood pan remove dishwasher from under bench and tip back the water will run onto the floor.then test the dishwasher while it is still out you can remove the rear panel were the hoses go through and check the drain hose for leaks also check the white plastic ring under the metal filter for cracks, they look like a dark line.as far as the dispenser the most common cause is the main board, remove door skin and control panel and check the back of the board for damaged tracks, you will also have to replace the wax motor(red) on the drying fan(if fitted)check the solenoid on the dispenser for open circut.hope this helps.Ian.
