The CD magazine is stuck in my Pioneer CDX-FM1235s car cd player. I have tried the reset button but it appears to have been broken. If I take the whole unit from the car how could I remove magazine and cd's

Sony CD interchanger CDX - T69 (how to reset?)

This would invalidate the warranty and you may break it but I have just had to do one:

1. Remove 4 black screws
2. Unclick the front panel - yes it is clicked on but may appear to be screwed
3. Take off black lid
4. Pop the cradled player from the 4 dampers and unhook from the 2 springs
5. Remove the ribbon connector - do this by slipping/clicking the brown holder very slightly and then the ribbon comes out easily
6. Now using a suitable tool push the stuck CD back into the magazine
7. Click the magazine out - there is a white piece of plastic what when moved does the eject.
8. Do the above in reverse.

The trick to get the grey horizontal/vertical discs back on is to set them passed horizontal one notch on and click them on at the end - turning one notch anti-clockwise to lock them.

Pioneer cdx P1280 error11

pnoman: Your code means an electrical/mechanical failure. Follow this: 1. If the cartridge is stucked try to force it out slowly with a fine screwdriver. 2. Once is out or if already out without forcing it, remove all remaining CD's. 3. Insert a laser lens CD cleaner. 4. Clean it at least 3 times. 5. The unit must be disconnected from the 12V signal to be reset it at least 5 minutes, then reconnect. 6. If problem re-appears repeat procedure once more. If problems still, your laser lens is damaged and need replacement. Probably from $40.00 to $55.00. SithPitt
