Have a WS-2300-11 (base) station from March 2007. The WS-2310-25 Thermohygro sensor suddenly indicates abt 8-10 deg lower temperature when RH is higher than 68%. Indicates correctly when RH is lower than 68%. Have inspected the unit, all dry and clean. Have new batteries, have reset and so on, but this RH dependent failure persists. Must be hw or sw problem in the WS-2310-25 board or chip?

SOURCE: I have replaced the temperature sensor (black ring

Did you bleed the coolant system after the install?
Normally it is just to start the engine and let it cool down,Then remove the switch again and fill the coolant from that hole.
Do you get constant heat from the system?Or do you get warm then hot air.If so it is a bleeding issue.

Why can't I receive input from the outside sending unit?

Make sure that all the batteries are good!!
This procedure outlines the typical process to pair the sensor and base.
Base Station Battery Installation

·Remove the printed vinyl label from the LCD screen of the base station
·Position the remote sensor near the base station
·Open the battery compartment at the back of the base station and insert (2) AA batteries according to the polarity markings. Replace the battery compartment cover.
·Within a short time the RF signal icon (located to the left of the outdoor temperature channel indicator) will start flashing. This indicates that the base station is ready to pick up the RF outdoor temperature signal from the remote sensor. It will continue to flash for 3 minutes or until the signal from the remote sensor is detected.

Register the Remote Sensor
·Open the battery compartment at the back of the remote sensor and slide the channel selector switch to your desired channel. For the first remote you may select any channel, for additional remotes select any unused channel
·Insert (2) AAA batteries according to the polarity markings. Be sure to install the batteries in the remote within the time that the RF signal icon is flashing on the base station. 1541 WeatherGuide Wireless Weather Forecaster with Barometer

My outside temperature and humidity sensor appears to have failed. I'd like to buy a replacement. 433 MHz. The system is WS-7395U. Please advise price. taylor.norman1@gmail.

The WS-7395U uses the La Crosse TX8U outdoor temperature and humidity sensor. That part has a $49.99 MSRP. It is $46.95 from La Crosse; see http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/tx8/index.php to order the part. Other vendors that I checked do not have the sensor in stock for sale separately.

I hope this helps.

Ws 2800 rain not displayed

I tried this and it worked fine
FACTORY RESTART:
A Factory Reset will erase the connection between the Display and the Thermo-hygro sensor and allow a fresh connection to be re-established. It is recommended to have the display and all sensors 5-10 feet apart for this restart.

ENTER PROGRAM MENU
Press and hold the SET button until you enter the program menu. Press and release the SET button until you see 'rES oFF' flashing.

FACTORY RESET ON
Use the UP ARROW key or DOWN ARROW key to turn rES on.

CONFIRM & COUNTDOWN
Press the SET key to confirm and a countdown timer will begin counting down from 127. When the timer displays dOnE, you must remove the batteries from the display for 10 minutes

REMOVE BATTERIES FROM THERMOHYGRO AND RAIN
While the batteries are out of the display, also remove the batteries from the Thermo-hygro sensor and the Rain sensor. Wait 15 minutes.

GENTLY KEY THE WIND SENSOR
Gently key the wind sensor one time to activate the sensor.

INSTALL BATTERIES INTO THERMOHYGO AND RAIN
Insert fresh alkaline batteries into the Thermohygro sensor and Rain sensor make sure to check polarity with the markings on the battery cover and inside the battery compartment. Wait 2 minutes.

INSTALL BATTERIES INTO DISPLAY: Insert fresh alkaline batteries into the Display. Make sure to check polarity with the markings inside the battery compartment
15 MINUTES: Wait 15 minutes for the outdoor weather data to display. If the outdoor data displays dashes after waiting for 15 minutes, repeat the steps of restart.

Flashing codes 15,54,83

CODE 15
Trouble Code 15 indicates that the Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS) is reporting abnormally low readings. CTS is used to control fuel mixture, timing, idle speed, TCC and EGR operation, among others. The thermistor used has a high-resistance when cold, lowering as the coolant warms.
Code 15 will set if:
- temperature reported is < -37.30 deg F (-38.5 deg C)

Typical causes may include:
1. Open circuit in CTS-ECM harness
2. Defective Coolant Temperature Sensor
3. Open sensor ground circuit
4. Defective ECM

Cannot get the weather station model ws-916ou-it to show outside temperature

I have three of these WS-916OU-IT units. After a few years, the outside sensor just fails. You will get dashes and a "TR" low battery signal, even if the batteries are good
just buy another whole weather station (short money) and set both the old and new weather station unit to receive from the single new outdoor sensor.
To do this - just follow the procedure for a single sensor - that is - put the batteries in the new sensor - then within 30 seconds - put the batteries in all the weather stations - they will all pick up the same outdoor sensor.
I now have three units running off of one outdoor sensor.
Seems a bit silly, but it works.

Low charge?

System is running a 24°F superheat and a 0°F subcooling at those readings. Saturation temperature is approx. 30°F lower than return air temperature.

Indications are of a low system charge. Ensure all your filters are clean and there are no obstructions that are limited airflow across the evaporator coil. Ensure the coils are clean and not frozen up.

Have it checked out. Looks like a low charge but can't tell without being in front of it. As far as normal ranges, that all depends on many factors. Based upon the info you have supplied, I would guesstimate that the operating pressures would be in the neighborhood of 350/160 to start and get the subcooling and superheat in check.
