Hello, I have a Breville Kitchen Wizz FP2 and love it, the trouble is the bowl and lid (where the connection to make it work lies) are very dodgy now. Is there anywhere I can get a new bowl & lid please?

With no blade and no bowl on the base, press a small screwdriver into the hole that is the safety interlock. Then try and turn the processor on. If it works, the problem is the bowl and lid lock. If it doesn't, the problem is the base and it is faulty.
Make sure you have the work bowl properly placed on the base and the lid properly attached to the work bowl. I often have trouble getting the work bowl inserted in the base of our food processor and also have trouble getting the lid fitted into the bowl properly.
Since I have no idea which model of Cuisinart food processor you have, I am unable to advise you further.

This tip is used to remove a stuck bowl from the base of a Kitchen Aid tilt-head mixer. It might work for your situation. Fill the bowl with very hot water (use the food shoot as a pour spout). Now use either frozen gel packs, or a bag of ice cubes, and lay the ice on top of the lid. Wait for a few minutes. The hot water with make bowl expand, ice will make lid shrink, thus loosening the tight lid. I'm assuming that the lid edge fits inside of the bowl, like most food processors do. Try to gently move the lid, and see if it'll give.
I have the same model -Breville Kitchen Wizz I have the bowls and blade accessories if anyone still wants them- I'm finally giving up on it even though the motor is strong the plastic casing is all cracked with age. Greta
Sadly the FP2A no longer has ANY new spare parts available in Australia.
The only option you have is to keep an eye out at thrift stores e.g. Vinnies, Salvos, or check out Garage Sales, as people may still have the bowls etc but have done away with the machine.
Have a bowl available (Mooroolbark Victoria) for Model FP2A if it is still required. The motor of the wizz has died & all the other attachments are available as well.
